WebWhispers Founder, Webmaster, Vice President of WW Internet Activities and a good friend to all laryngectomees, Lt. Colonel David L. Helms - USAF (Ret.) passed away on November 1, 2006 in El Lago, Texas.   "Dutch" as he was known to the many larynx cancer patients and survivors who met due to the WebWhispers website had a cancer recurrence just over a year ago.  He had been putting up the good fight and still worked on the WebWhispers website until a few months ago.

You were a good friend and mentor.  Godspeed and fly high.
