2003 Overlea High School Graduation

Hmmm?  I believe Principal Thanner is talking about me.  I knew I should have stayed on the floor with everyone else and not gone up on stage!  I got a bad feeling about this.  

Now what do I do?  Deep breaths.  Is it hot in here or just me?

         Guess I gotta say something!  Friends, Romans, Countrymen.  Nope. That ain't it!

And this would be one of many reasons why it was all so memorable.  I have known this young lady and her family since she was a toddler from working in her neighborhood. 

Being her SRO for four years and seeing her graduate made that night even more special.  Her mother and I have worked together on many neighborhood issues over the years.
